Taking notes on 2014

This summer marks our third season as the Santa Claus Museum & Village and we have lots more fun in-store for you this year. Stop by the museum and check out our new “Under the Christmas Tree” exhibit, highlighting what children in Santa Claus, Indiana, may have received on Christmas morning in years past. View our collection of children’s letters to Santa Claus, dating back to the 1930s and now including letters from Christmas, 2013. This year also marks the 100 year anniversary of the town of Santa Claus, Indiana, assisting Santa in answering all those letters from children around the world. And while you’re here, make sure to write your own letter in the Original Santa Claus Post Office. It’s never too early to start!

For more information about our hours of operation and the upcoming summer season, visit our Plan a Visit page. See you soon!

Dear Sir/ Madam, I am Billy, a university student from Hong Kong. Me and a team of three members may come to have a visit to the Santa Claus Museum on September 13. This trip is sponsored by a youth organisation the Hong Kong Federation of Youth group, during the days in Finland, there will be a media group follow us to shoot the video and show on the television. If we are being selected, then we will come to the museum for a visit. On top of that, is there any activity that the museum can organise for us to join ? I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. Best regards, Billy Berry

Hi Billy, That sounds like a wonderful and exciting opportunity! We would be happy to show you around the Santa Claus Museum & Village. You should also get in touch with the Spencer County Visitors Bureau, as they can help you plan other activities in the area. Their website is http://www.santaclausind.org/. Please keep us posted! Emily
