Best of the Road

The spirit of Christmas comes alive looking at all of the historic photos and documents chronicling our tiny town. Today we were lucky enough to show it all off for some special guests. Joan and her daughter Jules stopped by as they participate in the road trip of a lifetime as part of Rand McNally’s Best of the Road tour. Their mission: to find the “Most Fun” Small Town. Santa Claus is one of 6 finalists!
Mrs. Koch took “Traveling Joan” on her own private tour of the Santa Claus museum this morning. “Traveling Jules” got a private lesson from Dan Koch on how to operate his family’s antique player piano while singing Christmas carols of course.
