2018 Museum Holiday Events


Storyteller Susan Fowler returns to kick off the Christmas season at the Santa Claus Museum & Village on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 10:00 am CT. Fowler will spin her tale of how the town of Santa Claus received its name, and present Clement C. Moore’s classic poem, A Visit from St. Nicholas, also known as The Night Before Christmas, in a free, family-friendly event. Fowler will also return for storytelling on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 2:00 pm CT.

Local students will spread Christmas cheer with band duets, small ensembles and choirs in the afternoon on December 1, 2018, from 1:00-3:00 pm CT.  The students will be performing in the historic Santa Claus Church.

On Saturday, December 8, 2018, we will have a Christmas craft from 10:00 – 12:00 pm.

Mrs. Claus will stop in from 10:30 – 12:00 pm CT.

A free Christmas concert by Nashville duet Bomar and Ritter on Saturday, December 15, 2018, performance will be held in the historic Santa Claus Church, which will be decked out for the holidays with live greens and seasonal decorations.
